Same here. I was hoping for some snow (except when I need to clean my car, lol) but today we had proper spring weather.

Discord is a communication platform, like Viber or WhatsApp. Similar but not the same, of course.

So, Xacoon, would you want and would you have the energy required to make it an official communication platform of this board?

What's Viber ? (and I am not too sure what exactly WhatsApp is ... from what others said here and there it seems like SMS but in a group?).

You can exchange texts but also images and attach files, organize groups etc, so it is not strictly 1-on-1 communication.

I guess this is what everyone abot the age of 8 seems to be doing at any minute of the day then.

I am at a loss - why have a communication platform whaen you do already have a communication platform? (this is a forum after all) ?

I guess these other platforms are more instant, like comparing being pen-pals (forum) and actually talking on the phone (chat platforms)

Hmm - but the perceived 'speed' of conversation is more up to how many people are online at the same time and how fast each one responds.

If you have such a discord, but people only drop by every 3 days or so it will be slow. Back in the olden days on the og forum there wer time were I had 3 to 5 tabs for different threads open at the same time. It was very lively and very fast.

Maybe it's more bacuse it seems to be the new cool thing around or something.

I guess I'm just old.

If not for the length of the day, I would think it is September or April, judging by the weather here.

It has gotten warmer over here (compared to the last 2 weeks or so). It's around 6°C to 8°C now. More 'normal' winter weather.

Happy solstice/yule for those who celebrate it!

We're expecting another ice storm on Friday.

Yesterday was an early payday... so we congratulated it to "everyone who celebrates"

It's been rather quiet on here. The discord seems to be a lot more lively - I wonder if most people use something liek this for communicating nowadays. Or mayber the younger ones do. I don't know.
