Yeah, the excitement of finally being back to work already starts wearing off. Everytime my alarm goes off before the night is over.

- why should anybody be excited about that at any point ?
- two hours of sleep just isn't enough (I wonder why this body is still waging war against me after all these years)

Just sitting at work waiting for an engineer to come in (its 1:30am here). They shut everything down on the weekend to work on the air conditioning, and now none of the computers are accessing our storage network, so none of us can do any work until its fixed.

I once had a HVAC guy welding something and not giving a crap about the plastic pipe "protecting" the network cables, so he burnt straight through it. One side of the hotel had no WiFi for at least 3 hours.

@Elyris: well, the most excitement was from the fact that I finally was talking to different people than the checkout line at the grocery store or pharmacy.

One of the films we're doing makeup for had problems securing a home to shoot in (people in Toronto wanted $7000 to use their home to shoot in for 3 days), so the director asked if he could use our home to shoot in next month. So we'll have to go around and hide all of our Avatar collectibles and any other licensed stuff, as well as all of our creepier decor, and have to make our house look "normal".

I ... don't really have collectibles of any sort (I was raised that stuff like this was a huge waste of money and made more work than anything; I didn't had a single poster on my wall either)

@Kiy: Hmm - well ... I do 'talk' to my colleagues but as always conversation iwth other people has a 99% chance to my superficial, shallow and insubstantial. In other words: I might laugh here and there but all in all my brain feels unsatisfied and bored. So it doesn't really make a difference to me.

Well, I actually have a rather quiet weekend ahead. Just me, some laundry and maybe some sewing.

@Elyris: after four weeks all alone at home I was more than grateful for even the most shallow conversation. I'm not the loner type, I need some other people around me now and then. And if it's just to hear a voice.

Yay, it's Friday!! It's supposed to be nice outside today (its been raining a lot this spring). Might have to re-install the purple, blue & green "biolume" micro-LED light strings in our back yard landscaping today so that it glows like Pandora at night again.

yeah, it's me. watched Avatar the other day to get back in the groove or half way there.

I learned yesterday that my prejudice about liquid grill ighters were absolutely right - I am still coughing and my eyes just now stop tp burn.
