I'm still impressed. My free days always seem to behave like icecream at 30°C.

Oh God, on the 11th, LIDL opened 11 supermarkets in Serbia, in 11 cities. That's fine, of course. However, the funny/sad part is that the heads of the state attended the opening ceremonies as if it is CERN, or ESA/NASA event. FFS!!!!!!!!!

Well, stuff there is more affordable, compared to other chains, and that is fine. However, blowing it out of proportion, making it look like a huge achievement by the government (while forgetting to state all tax incentives given, like 5 to 10 years non-payment of any taxes) pisses me off.

Of course. And again: it's jsut Lildl - this is as underwhelming as it gets. And it might not even be that beneficial in the bigger picture further down the line.

Why should I? There's no real point in that for me anyways and the date has been pushed for years so ...

Morning :)
Back in after a week of vacation so full that I'd need two more to sort it all out... in mere 7 days I have seen a Celtic Museum (Glauberg), the Hamburg harbour, complete with Miniatureworld, spice museum, riding a boat through "Speicherstadt", visiting the Aladdin Musical (I took a nice picture of advertisement posters there, side by side: Aladdin on the right and Avatar/Toruk on the left :D ), then off to farther north to visit Haithabu (famous Viking museum and digsite) and then spend a few days in Schleswig, so I could make one trip to the Baltic Sea and one to the North Sea.
Yesterday was driving home the full 635 kilometers home. I swear - currently there are more parts of German highways under construction than are free. Ugh.

So I had a great time and I'm done at the same time.

Aaahhhh . I always wanted to see Haithabu too.

Sounds like a good vacation week.

Sadly enough it's Monday.

Morning

4am it's always 4am and then it's over for that night. Maybe I should try to get to bed earlier ... 8pm or so.

Yes, it was a great vacation week - Haithabu is totally worth the trip!
Now getting used to getting up early again. Ugh.
